All Aya Leadership Skills Workshops meet participants where they are currently at in their leadership journey and apply coaching to amplify uptake of leadership strategies and tools, and leadership capability development.
Introduction to Coaching in the Workplace
Coaching skills are fundamental to effective leadership. A coaching approach brings out the best in individuals, making them more responsible for their decision and less reliant on others. Coaching strategies can be used to drive effective team meetings and plan successful projects; and manage conflict, start difficult conversations, and effectively provide feedback. This 1-day workshop introduces participants to coaching theory, skills and practice to enable them to incorporate a coaching approach into their leadership practice.
The workshop can be delivered as a full-day or 2 x half-day workshop, in either a face-to-face or digital setting.
Building High-Performing Teams
High-performing teams make all the difference to business output, culture and success, but they don’t just happen. This workshop provides the strategies, tools and skills, along with neuroscience and leadership theory, to develop a high-performance culture in your teams that will have real impact on employee wellbeing, motivation, engagement, development and retention. The workshop covers the dimensions and functions of high-performing teams; current frameworks to achieve these functions; building trust, a learning mindset and a positive feedback culture within teams; and team resilience.
The content is delivered over two 4-hour workshops, in either a face-to-face or digital setting.
Influence with Purpose
The ability to influence is an essential leadership capability. Influence has the greatest impact when it comes from a place of authenticity and positive purpose. This workshop teaches participants a range of strategies, techniques and skills based upon influence psychology and neuroscience theory and practice, that will enable them to acquire the commitment of others to produce results and create change.
The content is delivered over two 4-hour workshops, in either a face-to-face or digital setting.

The Art of Effective Feedback
Feedback is critical to business and employee growth. Giving effective feedback is highlighted as one of the key challenges leaders face. The workshop provides theory and practical strategies to build a positive feedback culture through understanding why feedback doesn’t register and what makes receiving feedback so hard. The workshop provides key models for feedback success and creating successful (difficult) conversations.

Leadership Presence
Leadership presence is reflected in how a leader ‘shows up’, communicates and behaves under pressure, and is underpinned by confidence. Confidence is one of the key elements that influences a woman’s ability to lead; leadership confidence enables enhanced decision‑making, risk-taking and commitment and the ability to effectively engage, influence and lead others. This workshop focuses on practical strategies and skills to build confidence in leadership mindset and behaviour.
The 3-hour workshop can be delivered in either a face-to-face or digital setting.
Networking in Practice
The ability to effectively network is critical to female leadership. The encouragement of positive role models and the presence of a strong professional network shapes a woman’s view of leadership in the workplace and can be a strong force multiplier in improving leadership development for women and achieving gender diversity goals. Networking offers connection with other leaders, leadership support and business opportunities. Women are not traditionally taught how to network effectively, and research shows that women pull back from networking at a crucial time in their career where they really need to be embracing it. This workshop will provide emerging female leaders with the foundational strategies, tools and confidence to effectively build a professional network.
