Women in STEM IMPACT Female Leadership Program

Women in STEM experience increased barriers to retention, leadership development and success. This is typically due to a complex and systemic web of cultural and procedural factors, underpinned by STEM disciplines being primarily male-dominated. These barriers impact women’s participation, resilience, and self-belief in leadership skills, which perpetuate as barriers themselves.

Aya Leadership’s Women in STEM IMPACT Leadership Program has been developed to specifically address and negate these barriers. It has been tailored to rapidly transform the leadership of established female leaders working in the STEM industry, so they develop enduring confidence, reach their potential as experts and create impact as leaders. The program nurtures important protective factors for STEM women, including:

Course Principles

Over 8 workshops, the 6-month program (virtual or face-to-face) explores the following themes:

• Leadership mindset, purpose and resilience
• Leading transformation through adaptive leadership, supported by a workplace project
• Effective decision-making principles
• Leadership resilience
• Impactful communication and influence
• Leader as Coach
• Leading resilient, high-performing teams
• The role of resources networks and mentoring relationships
• Emotional Intelligence in leadership, including an emotional intelligence assessment + coaching
• Taking a strengths-based approach to leadership, including a Strengths Profile assessment + coaching

Strengths Profile Assessment + Debrief: During May
Emotional Intelligence Assessment + debrief, and two individual coaching sessions, will take place around the workshops.
Contact hours with leadership development experts: 65 hours
Investment: $8250 + GST

The program is delivered online.

An invoice will be sent upon registration. Payment should be received 4 weeks prior to the start of the workshop or no later than the invoice payment date (whichever comes first). Payment may be made by bank transfer or credit card.

In the event you cancel your participation in the registered program, or are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your program purchase to a substitute attendee, or a subsequent program.

As a very experienced leader at a crossroads in my career, I was exploring transition in my professional life.
